Systems Engineer

Job Description Operate and support global compute platforms, including CentOS and RedHat Enterprise Linux 7/8/9, Ubuntu Linux 20.04/22.04, VMware vSphere 7.0, and server hardware including HPE, Dell, Ciara, and BlackcorePerform VM Create/Change/Delete operations via Terraform. Handle common change requests such as adding CPU cores, RAM, and disk space Monitor and maintain multiple Kafka deployments, responding to alerts that could affect service availability or performance, and perform routine maintenance such as Kafka/Zookeeper node upgrades while maintaining service Operate and support global storage platforms, including Block: Pure Storage over iSCSI (including ActiveCluster synchronous replication), File: NetApp over NFS/SMB (SVM-DR and Metrocluster deployments), Object: AWS S3 and NetApp StorageGRID, Data Protection: Rubrik and AWS Backup Other duties as assigned. Must Have Skills/Qualifications: College Graduate of BS Computer Science or any related fieldAt least 5 years experience as a Systems Engineer or similar roleStrong experience with CentOS and RedHat Enterprise Linux 7/8/9, Ubuntu Linux 20.04/22.04, VMWare vSphere 7.0, and server hardware including HPE, Dell, Ciara, and BlackcoreOperate and support global compute platforms, including CentOS and RedHat Enterprise Linux 7/8/9, Ubuntu Linux 20.04/22.04, VMware vSphere 7.0, and server hardware including HPE, Dell, Ciara, BlackcorePerform VM Create/Change/Delete operations via Terraform.
