We also operate Open Access Network, a Fiber as a Service offering that helps reduce complexity for developers and telecommunication companies while increasing customer satisfaction.

\n Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and applicationsMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.Monitor and resolve problems in our system design and operations, and help our Network Operations Team with related support ticketsContinuously analyze, research, and make recommendations in improving server system performanceSupport in systems and network changes when needed, including spearheading the procurement and completion of requirements in collaboration with internal teamsSupport in updating network and systems procedures and assist in facilitating changesResponsible for information management and data repositoriesDevelopment of tools to support the network and systems infrastructure QualificationsWith at least the equivalent of 3 years work experience, in a Linux production environmentKnowledgeable about "infrastructure as code" concepts and experienced in creating deployments using code as opposed to manual configurations; Ansible experience preferred.Experience being responsible in responding to incidents in production, problem management, and change managementExperience and expertise in the following is an advantage:Using a system provisioning framework (Puppet, Chef, Ansible),Scripting (Bash, PERL, Python) to automate operational tasks in productionHardware virtualization (KVM, Proxmox), and system containers (Docker, Kubernetes)Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and experience in network configurationCommon Internet protocols (HTTP, DNS, SMTP, etc.) and usage of networking software (Apache, Postfix, BIND, Dnsmasq, OpenSSH, OpenVPN, curl)Proficiency in using monitoring and analytics tools (Nagios, Zabix, Prometheus, check_mk, Grafana)Proficiency in shell scripting (bash) and familiarity with programming languanges like Python and Perl.
