As a Senior System Administrator, you will be responsible formanaging and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure, ensuringits smooth operation and providing technical support to end-users. Thisrole requires a deep understanding of system administration, networking,and excellent customer service skills to assist users with technicalissues.ResponsibilitiesSystem Administration:Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, includingservers, networks, and systems.Perform regular system monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization toensure high availability and performance.Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems, softwareapplications, and hardware components.Implement and enforce security measures, including access controls,firewalls, and data backup strategies.Conduct regular system backups, data restoration, and disaster recoveryplanning.Helpdesk Support:Serve as an escalation point for Level 1 and 2 technicalresources.Resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely manner, ensuring effectivecommunication and customer satisfaction.Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, bothremotely and in person.Provide user training and assistance in utilizing company-approvedsoftware and hardware tools.Maintain documentation of support activities, technical procedures, andknowledge base articles.User Management and Collaboration:Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights to varioussystems and resources.Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate user onboarding andoffboarding processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT projects,upgrades, and system enhancements.Work closely with the IT team to ensure effective communication,knowledge sharing, and best practices.Continuous ImprovementStay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practicesin system administration and helpdesk support.Identify areas for improvement in system performance, security, anduser experience, and propose solutions.Automate routine tasks and develop scripts or tools to streamlinesystem administration processes.Participate in the evaluation, selection, and deployment of new ITinfrastructure and software solutions.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, ora related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience as a System Administrator with a strong focus onhelpdesk support.Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux operating systems.Deep understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and securitypractices.Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and usermanagement.Strong knowledge of ITIL best practices and helpdesk ticketingsystems.Knowledge of at least one scripting language.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose andresolve complex technical issues.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to provide effectivecustomer service.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced,deadline-driven environment.Relevant certifications such as MCSE, RHCE, Azure Administrator, orCCNA are highly desirable.Join our team as a Senior System Administrator with Helpdesk Experienceand contribute to the stability, security, and efficiency of our ITinfrastructure while providing exceptional technical support to ourusers.Must have reliable internet connection at homeMust be willing to work Mon-Fri 8pm – 5am ManilaTimeMust be willing to work on shifting scheduleMust be willing to work on weekends (weekdays off) ifnecessaryMust be comfortable working Homebased Show more Show lessTagged as: remote, remote job, virtual, Virtual Job,virtual position, Work at Home, work from home When applying state you found this job on Pangian.com Remote Network. #J-18808-Ljbffr
