Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing our supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods from suppliers to customers. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
Warehouse:
• Ensure all orders are completed and systems are updated accordingly.
• Ensure SOPs are observed and executed well, based on company standards and compliance.
• Efficiently facilitate personnel through goal target achievement.
• Ensure quality, safety, and cleanliness of the area warehouse and other responsibilities and tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Inventory Management:
• Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
• Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
• Analyze inventory data and forecast demand to support production planning and procurement.
Logistics and Distribution:
• Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.
• Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Ensuring company compliance with all transport policies, legislation, and procedures.
• Regularly liaising with the warehouse comptroller to ensure a smooth operation of both departments.
• Resolving and managing queries and complaints courteously and effectively.
• Identifying operational issues, potential problems, and opportunities.
Demand Planning and Forecasting:
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and production plans.
• Use data analytics and market trends to predict demand and adjust supply chain strategies accordingly.
Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions and supplier issues.
• Implement and maintain health and safety standards within the supply chain operations.
Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with quality standards and regulations.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity of products throughout the supply chain.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Utilize data analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and supply chain metrics.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting performance, issues, and recommendations.
Purchasing:
• Manage the procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and relationship management.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure the availability and quality of materials and products.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field and/or Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is a plus.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related role.
• Proven track record of managing and optimizing supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
