Supply Chain Manager

Manages and directs several of the following supply chain activities of the plant: inventory management, raw
- mat procurement, production planning, IMPEX and logistics.- PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- 1) Ensure customer requirements and concerns are addressed in a timely manner.- 2) Coordinate and manage day to day customer service, shipping/logistics and scheduling activities for the Cebu operation.
Make sure that the scheduler, warehouse and shipping, IMPEX personnel perform to the expectations of their position descriptions.- 3) Manage account distribution and workloads to make sure that work is equitably assigned and accounts are properly matched to personality and capability.- 4) Make sure daily order picks are done early and sent to the warehouse for picking and shipping.- 5) Closely evaluate order entry, scheduling and shop orders for due dates and expedite production or shipping activity to meet customer delivery dates.- 6) Measure on-time delivery and initiate corrective action to ensure we can meet divisional delivery metrics.- 7) Coordinate the activities of new customer set up to ensure a smooth transition to the company.- 8) Translate manual and EDI customer forecasts into weekly production schedules.
Measure weeks on hand of inventory and ensure internal inventory levels and customer commitments are met.- 9) Develop and monitor inventory replenishment plans for all customers including all stocking and VMI programs.
Balance production schedules to inventory goals.- 10) Track slowly moving and obsolete inventories and develop plans for disposition.- 11) Continuously supports the compliance of both DPI's Quality and Environment, Health and Safety System policies and procedures.- 12) Performs other tasks as may be assigned by superiors.- JOB SPECIFICATIONS/COMPETENCY- 1) Able to interpret and understand complicated sentences.- 2) Able to use proper writing techniques in business and technical writing.- 3) Learns and applies new information effectively, keeps uo to date in his/her areas of specialty.- 5) Able to deal with difficult customers effectively.- 7) Builds partnership with customers.- 9) Involves others in the task; builds on other people's ideas/actions.-
