Our roles span across different departments including Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Human Resources and Research and Development. Looking ahead, our aspirations for the year include improving our operations, launching new brands, and expanding our business footprint. We are in the market for a supply chain assistant that will report directly to the supply chain manager and assist on a half day basis.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled half day Supply Chain assistant who will be responsible for coordinating and organizing all activities involving the identification, acquisition, production, and distribution of the company's goods. An independent minded, self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who can properly identify any issue with the supply chain with a strong sense of time organization and urgency.
As a Supply Chain assistant, you should have the ability to ensure that the In-Stock Ratio is always 100%. We need someone who can find new ways and new solutions to improve the current quality/cost ratio and be able to find the best cost/quality sourcing and shipping solutions.
About You
To excel in this role, you need:
Atleast 2 -3 years supply chain/inventory management experience
Highly organised & meticulous attention to detail
Problem-solver with an innovative mindset
Experience using formulas and working with large sets of data on Google Sheets and working on Amazon FBA
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Oversee the production, QC and shipping processes, making sure that the result delivered exceeds the expectations.
Develop supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.
Manage activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies for the company
Manages the Inventory Management tasks in Amazon by creating shipments, avoiding OOS and forecasts necessary future orders.
Manages the relations with everybody involved in the supply chain: suppliers, forwarders, QC inspectors and sourcing agents.
Manage and coordinate global supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization and profitability maximization
Inventory Forecasting using the conveyor belt system
Supplier negotiation
