**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES**- **Demand Planning -** Prepare, review and execute routine reviews of the demand planning forecast to determine products that require purchase orders.- **Forecasting -** Analyse customer sales data in order to accurately forecast future sales information.- **Decision Making -** Determines most efficient and cost effective outcomes in relation to orders and delivery timeframes.- **Supply Chain & Procurement Team Supervision -** Reporting to the Procurement and Commercial Manager you will assist in the supervision of the team, supporting a high performing team and ensuring they achieve their targets.- **Purchase Orders** - Raise purchase orders for products with Vendors for the correct quantities, prices and delivery timelines.- **Purchase Order Management** - regular review and dialogue with Vendors to ensure orders are on track for delivery and dealing with any issues arising.- **Logistics** - coordinate and arrange logistics of shipments (sea or air) from China to Australia including optimising container loads and coordination of multiple purchase orders into containers.- **Purchase Order QA Release** - coordinate quality control and inspections for purchase orders. Releasing orders where compliant for shipment or escalating non-compliance issues as appropriate.- **Procurement Analysis **- analyse orders; inventory levels; inbound and outbound freight costs; quality control costs and any other procurement related costs.- **Vendor Contract Management** - regular review of vendors to ensure terms and conditions are up to date; signed and compliant.- **Vendor Management - **maintain good vendor relations and deal with various vendor related issues such as price issues; MOQ issues etc. as appropriate and escalate if outside scope of role.- **Vendor Ethical Sourcing Management - **follow procedures to ensure vendors meet ethical sourcing requirements for Crest customers. This entails:- Book factory audits with 3rd party companies- Review audit results and implement CAP (corrective action plans) with Vendors- Ensure Vendors achieve factory endorsement- **New Products** - creation and set up of new products within the ERP system within control framework.- **Product management** - update products when changes occur (e.g. packaging changes, price changes, lead times)- Any other tasks as required.**SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**- Bachelor's degree or diploma in procurement or supply chain management.- 5+ Years' experience in procurement- Language - Strong verbal and written English language skills. Mandarin is highly desired.- Decision making skills - strongly skilled decision maker, confident in accurately evaluating options and anticipating outcomes with the ability to make decisions under pressure.- Leadership - ability to lead, mentor and coach the supply chain & procurement team to drive accountability for their deliverables.Computer skills - highly proficient with Microsoft Excel including complex formulas. Experience with ERP software (Crest currently uses Microsoft D365).
