- Responsible for both FG and raw material demand planning
- Closely coordinates with supply chain planner and materials planner for FG & raw material inventory allocation and consumption
- Develops an unconstrained baseline demand plan per material based on historical consumption and utilization and projected requirements
- Capture, consolidate, analyze and challenge demand plans from various sources in preparation for the demand discussions with various stakeholders
- Responsible for a 12-month rolling forecast analysis
- Leads project forecasting based on project pipeline reviews with appropriate teams
- Monitor demand plan accuracy, analyze forecast errors and define corrective actions
- Comprehensively uses available Supply Chain tools/applications and analyzes data and statistics to review demand plans
- Manages demand in times of supply constraints, communicating demand allocation or postponement strategies to stakeholders
- Together with Supply Planning, maintain inventory levels meeting cash flow targets
- Drives S&OP for demand and supply analysis of issues and risks as well as coordination of action items
- Regularly analyze KPI's eg forecast accuracy and propose actions to improve performance of operation.
- Closely monitor supply issues (out-of-stock, bottlenecks, over stock etc) and identify impact in demand
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering / Business Administration
- Minimum of 3 years related experience in supply chain management is a must
- Familiarity in planning different SCM scenarios (make to ordere, make to stock)
- Must be a self-starter, with good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work
- Knowledgeable in planning system
- Excellent excel user
- Highly motivated, structured and able to handle stressful situations
- Strong in trouble shooting, problem solving and high degree of proactivity
- Result oriented
- Proficiency in oral and written English languages an advantage
