The Supervisor for Engineering & Technical Service (Mechanical Engineering) is a supervisory position that requires the successful applicant to join the company's multidisciplinary team of hardware developers. This role's primary responsibilities involve providing the necessary support to the management in directly supervising the daily operations of the R&D Hardware and Technical Service within the Mechanical Engineering Team. It also entails a) collaboration with management to attain the company's objectives concerning quality, cost, delivery, and continuous improvement; b) collaboration with fellow designers to create alternatives and options for advancing projects and products; and c) lead in engineering documentation, estimation, and process enhancement.
Responsibilities:
1. Receive design data concepts, estimate budget, make activity plans and schedule. Disseminate tasks to team members.
2. Monitor the progress, status, and potential issues of each project.
3. Review mechanical design, 3D/2D Drawings, Assembly Drawings and Diagrams and analyze potential design concerns and discuss with team for possible countermeasures.
4. Check necessary engineering documents for machine's mass production and design changes.
5. Monitor and validate the mechanical designs from trial up to mass production process.
6. Facilitate Design Change Concept for quality improvement and VAVE activities.
7. Provide technical support during assembly and disassembly of machines.
8. Train and mentor new hires and continually develop the skills of existing team members.
9. Regularly evaluate team members and identify areas of improvement.
10. Support in design process for certain tasks to achieve project goals.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by the immediate superior, as they relate to the job title and description, on an as-needed basis.
Required Experience:
Must have a degree in Engineering – Mechanical, Mechatronics or related Engineering fields.
Licensed or unlicensed candidates are welcome.
A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in similar roles in the gaming industry is preferred.

Proficiency in Solid works, 3D CAD software, or equivalent design-related software.

Has knowledge and background on multidisciplinary mechanical/electromechanical items, such as metal, plastics, its product design and manufacturing processes.
