Is currently looking for:
SUPERVISOR, CONFIGURATION ENGINEER
Job Summary:
You will supervise the dynamic global team of Configuration Engineers that supports manufacturing to resolve configuration related issues that arise during build process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Experienced in configuration engineering
Manage Configuration activities of Cebu, organize workflow and ensure that the team understands their duties/delegated tasks
In-charge of manpower planning/deployment of Cebu CE Team in NPI/Special Projects in collaboration with Product owners and ensure daily smooth operation
Ensure key deliverables of department goals are met and communicate them to your subordinates
Key support on products as defined by your manager(s)
Cross training of employees across product groups for Cebu Team, which includes new hires
Monitor subordinates' productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching on configuration matters which includes problem solving.
Assess Cebu site and staffing needs. Encourage team & create proposals/improvement projects to meet site needs on resources
Able to assess, identify talents, and motivate team to improve performance
- Able to support ad-hoc activities as assigned by your manager(s)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of related experience
Proficiency with MS Office Applications, and ADOBE Acrobat. Advanced Excel knowledge, and design experience is a plus
Excellent in SAP/Visual ERP system/ PLM system/Access management skills
Knowledge with engineering documentation and document control procedures
Able to read technical drawing and mechanical BOM
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Can adapt well in a fast-paced environment
Keen to details / detail oriented
Ability work effectively with the TEAM & other departments
Ability to listen, problem-solve, manage time pressures calmly and approachable
Possess a relationship of respect and trust with the team
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Possess organizational and leadership skills
Educational Requirement:
Diploma, Bachelor´s Degree, preferably in Mechanical/Electronics/Industrial
Experienced Requirement:
Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of related experience
Experience in SAP/Visual ERP system/PLM System is a plus
3+ years of people management
