Job Summary The Supervisor, Charge Processing is responsible for the oversight of Charge Processing department. This position may participate in any or all aspects of the charge processing functions of the department. Essential Functions And Tasks Monitor Charge Processing and report escalated issues. Assist and monitor emails / projects and follows-up on outstanding items. Monitoring internal AIMS site for potential charge issues with the client. Works closely with the Client Manger and reports any escalated issues to Charge Supervisor. Training and answering clarifications for Charge Processing department. Monitors startup clients and alert Charge Supervisor of any issues. Auditing and providing feedback to teammates and outsourcers. Assist Charge Supervisor in workflow processes for Charge Processing. Helps with and reports escalated issues to Charge Supervisor. Performs research of the no demographics log, maintained internally. Requests and manually pulls demographics and reports for processing. Requesting demographics from multiple contacts and/or accessing remote systems for missing information. Monitors and maintain Data Manager system which includes noting demographics worked and entered and noting issues as they arise. Monitor, maintain , and process Report Capture Verification processing. Monitors and/or helps with coverage when team member is out. Completing tasks assigned by Supervisor. Delegating projects to Team and ensuring completion and QC. Monitoring Team's performance and production. Monitoring ticketing system to ensure tickets are worked timely . Managing daily and weekly reports. Weekly meetings with staff. Performs other related duties as assigned. Education And Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of medical billing experience preferred. One or more years of data entry experience preferred. Knowledgeable of medical terminology, medical coding. Knowledgeable of third-party billing and reimbursement processes. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Ability to read, understand, and apply state/federal laws, regulations, and policies. Ability to communicate with diverse personalities in a tactful, mature, and professional manner. Ability to remain flexible and work within a collaborative and fast paced environment. Basic use of computer, telephone, internet, copier, fax, and scanner. Basic touch 10 key skills. Basic Math skills. Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
