Job DescriptionThe Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, including managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in retail management, a passion for motorsports, and experience in sales and operations management.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management Recruit, train, and develop a knowledgeable and customer-focused sales team.Set performance standards, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide coaching to improve team members' skills.Drive sales by developing, implementing, and monitoring sales strategies.Engage with customers, offering product knowledge and recommendations to meet their needs.Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service, handling complaints, and resolving issues promptly.Inventory & Merchandising Oversee inventory management, ensuring products are fully stocked and organized.Manage stock levels and order new inventory in coordination with suppliers and demand trends.Set up, adjust, and maintain store displays, promoting featured products and seasonal trends.Operations & Financial Management Prepare and manage store budgets, monitoring expenses to achieve financial objectives.Track store performance metrics (e.g., sales, profitability, customer satisfaction) and report findings to the Regional Manager.Oversee cash handling, transactions, and deposit reconciliations to ensure accuracy.Health, Safety, & Compliance Ensure a safe and clean store environment in compliance with company policies and local regulations.Conduct routine safety checks and maintenance inspections on store fixtures and equipment.Train staff on safety protocols, especially related to motorsports products and any safety equipment.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in motorsports, automotive, or a similar field.Strong leadership and team management skills.Knowledge of motorsports products and trends is highly preferred.Proficiency in inventory management, POS systems, and MS Office.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Personal Attributes: Passion for motorsports and a desire to share that passion with customers.Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
