Job Summary:
The Store Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a high-end jewelry boutique, ensuring the store delivers an exceptional shopping experience that aligns with the brand's standards of luxury and quality. This role includes managing sales, inventory, visual merchandising, and customer service, while leading a team to meet performance goals. The Store Manager will play a key role in promoting the boutique's fine jewelry offerings to both local and international clients, ensuring they leave with a memorable, personalized experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead, inspire, and manage a team of sales associates, ensuring high levels of performance and professionalism. Train and mentor staff to ensure excellence in customer service and product knowledge.
2. Deliver exceptional, personalized service to high-net-worth clients, providing expert advice and guidance on fine jewelry selections. Resolve customer concerns with tact and professionalism.
3. Achieve or exceed sales targets by driving sales performance through engagement, up-selling, and cross-selling. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and provide feedback to the team.
4. Oversee stock management, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining inventory levels. Ensure proper storage and handling of valuable items and assist in stock audits.
5. Ensure the store is visually appealing, with displays that highlight jewelry collections in line with the brand's aesthetic. Regularly update displays to reflect new arrivals, seasonal trends, or special promotions.
6. Oversee all aspects of boutique operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and compliance with company policies and local regulations. Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
7. Assist in executing local marketing initiatives and events to drive foot traffic and increase brand visibility. Cultivate relationships with repeat customers and local influencers to promote the boutique.
8. Prepare and maintain reports on sales, inventory levels, customer feedback, and employee performance. Submit regular reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a store manager, retail manager, or supervisor in the luxury goods or fine jewelry sector.
2. Strong understanding of luxury customer service and sales techniques.
3. Knowledge of fine jewelry, gemstones, and industry trends is highly preferred.
4. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
5. Results-driven with a passion for achieving sales goals and providing excellent customer experiences.
