Responsible for achievement of sales and profitability, merchandising and shrinkage control, business analysis, customer service, and people management of the entire store.
Job Description: Sales and Profitability: Achieves EBIT and EBITDA versus targetManages operating expenses effectively by implementing cost-effective plansMerchandising and Shrinkage Control: Knowledgeable on product off-take particularly on fast-moving and best-selling merchandiseEnsures that merchandise display guidelines are strictly followedEnsures that clean and fresh standards are observed in all departmentsMaximizes marketing promotions through timely and proper executionEnsures correct and timely implementation of space rentalsEnsures correct execution of category managementSupervises cycle count, and semi-annual, and annual inventory activities to ensure accurate resultsEnsures that security measures and control procedures are in placeEnsures that market returns (Return to Vendor) are within allowable percentageBusiness Analysis: Reviews financial performance and identifies solutions to address business needsConducts monthly departmental reviews and implements programs to achieve financial targetsInitiates competitive study to identify opportunities that will help improve salesCustomer Service: Ensures 100% compliance of all store personnel to customer service standardsConducts customer needs analysis to identify areas for improvement in the storeHandles customer service-related complaints effectivelyPeople Management: Conducts objective and timely performance evaluationPromotes personal and professional growth of direct hires through appropriate training and workshops to enhance competencyEnsures proper implementation of employee discipline at all timesEnsures 100% compliance with approved policies and proceduresReportorial and Other Requirements: Prepares annual and semi-annual performance appraisalsPerforms stock correction requestsEnsures application of local permits and licenses not covered by the company's Liason OfficerRecommends community sponsorship activities as part of the store's social responsibilityPrepares and approves SAP-related requirementsJob Key Qualifications: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Administration or its equivalentRequired skills: Excellent leadership skills, analytical, basic problem-solving skillsAt least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this positionApplicants must be willing to work at Robinsons Easymart Bangad or Kapitan Pepe, Cabanatuan
