Stock Control Associate

Job Summary: The Stock Control Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels of finished goods or packing materials within the warehouse. This role involves tracking inventory, conducting regular stock checks, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods in and out of the warehouse. The Stock Control Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the availability of materials for production and order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels for finished goods or packing materials.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
Monitor stock levels and reorder points to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
Receiving and Shipping:
Assist in receiving incoming shipments, verifying quantities, and inspecting for damages.
Ensure proper labeling and storage of received goods.
Prepare and process orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Data Entry and Reporting:
Update inventory management systems with accurate stock data.
Generate inventory reports and provide insights to management.
Identify and report any discrepancies or issues related to inventory.
Warehouse Organization:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Implement and adhere to warehouse procedures and best practices.
Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with the procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
Communicate any inventory issues or concerns to the Warehouse Manager promptly.
Assist in resolving any inventory-related problems or discrepancies.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections of inventory to ensure quality standards are met.
Identify and report any defective or damaged goods.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in related field is a plus.
Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
Has driver's license (but not required)
