Staff Or Senior Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform and review new contract setup Maintain accurate contract and budget values in system including tracking of change orders Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards by thoroughly managing, analyzing, and tracking the progress of construction projects and related WIP schedules Reconcile and analyze inventory records and assist in the rollout of new company-wide inventory SOPs Diligently perform various monthly reconciliations and thoroughly document in accordance with internal control requirements Prepare and remit sales tax for various states and localities Prepare and analyze Accounts Receivable aging reports Help maintain accurate data by performing various ad hoc analyses when requested QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, VBA macros, etc) Intermediate to advanced technical accounting skills Advanced analytical skills Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and produce accurate and timely work output Should be comfortable and willing to perform a variety of different tasks and work well in a highly dynamic work environment
