Notifies the physician of changes in the patient's conditions and any unusual or abnormal abbreviations.Applies the principles of asepsis in patient care to minimize the risk of the transfer of infection or accidental contaminationConducts/participates in research activities designed for the purpose of improving quality of nursing careDisseminates and utilizes results of such studies to improve care
