Job Summary The Sr. Risk Officer would primarily be responsible for assisting the Head of the Risk Management Office in the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework of the Exchange, as well as in the updating, review, and testing of the Business Continuity Management Policy and Plans of the Exchange. The Sr. Risk Officer will also assist the Head of the Risk Management Office of the Exchange in the implementation of other risk-related initiatives and projects of the Risk Management Office.
Job Description I. Primary Duties
Assists the Head of the Risk Management Office of the Exchange in the implementation of risk management initiatives and projects;Assists in the implementation the Exchange's Enterprise Risk Management Framework;Assists in the implementation, update, review, and testing of the Exchange's Business Continuity Management Policy and Plans;Assists in the coordination with auditors and management to monitor audits, corrective action plans, and related activities;II. Assists in the review and update of risk management policies, such as business continuity management and information security management, for management and Board approval.Assists in the conduct of training, facilitating of workshops, and initiating or managing other activities to raise risk awareness within the Exchange and assist in the development of the proficiency of line departments and risk management process.Assists units in the performance of regular risk and control self-assessments ("RCSAs").Assists units in developing and implementing risk mitigation measures to address identified risks.Assists in the formulation and update of risk strategies to achieve corporate goals and key performance metrics.Assists units in the development of key risk indicators ("KRIs") and other risk/scorecard analytics and reports to assess, measure and monitor risks across the Exchange.Assists in the coordination or in working with line management and Internal Audit to resolve risk management and control issues.Assists in the preparation and submission of reports on key risks.Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, or similar degrees; Possessing a degree in Master in Business Administration ("MBA") and professional certifications is an advantage.Experience: With at least seven (7) years of relevant experience in risk management and control, preferably in enterprise, project, operational, and/or technology risk managementSpecific Knowledge: Risk Framework, Risk Assessment and Management, ERM Risk Framework, Government Risk Regulatory Compliance, Business Writing, Presentation SkillsWilling to work on-site (BGC, Taguig)
