Job Overview: The Senior QA/QC Engineer is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure that all products and services meet the required standards and specifications. This role involves developing and implementing QA/QC procedures, conducting inspections, and collaborating with various departments to maintain the highest level of quality.
Key Responsibilities: Quality Management: Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements. Inspection and Testing: Conduct inspections and tests on materials, products, and processes to ensure they meet quality standards. Identify and report any non-conformances. Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of QA/QC activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective action plans. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in QA/QC processes and recommend and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Training and Development: Train and mentor junior QA/QC staff on quality assurance and control procedures and best practices. Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality issues and implement solutions. Audits: Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with QA/QC standards and identify opportunities for improvement. Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis on quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to address them. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all QA/QC activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer in [specific industry, e.g., construction, manufacturing, etc.]. Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles, standards, and methodologies. Proficiency in QA/QC tools and software applications. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) is a plus. Job Type: Full-time
