Sr. Executive/ Asst Manager- Process Engineering ( Air Housing)
Design and establish manufacturing/assembly processes for Filtration product manufacturing, including equipment and Jigs/fixtures selection. Design and manufacture SPM/Jigs and Fixtures through outside vendors using Low cost automation and electronic controls. Quality planning and Documentation of manufacturing/assembly processes (PFD/FMEA/Control plan/WI SOP). Conduct manufacturing feasibility studies of new or modified products. Ensure manufacturing processes are reliable and capable through PPAP and understanding of process capability (Cpk). Utilize VSM methodology for productivity improvement. Lead new product development as per Q/C/D requirements. Benchmark filter manufacturing processes worldwide for current and new projects. Parameters to Measure Performance: Productivity Improvement Implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CQC) Process Validation Minimize PPM level Knowledge: Proficiency in process design, feasibility of product manufacturing, machine and accessory selection, and low-cost automation. Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 6 Sigma, Kaizen. Experience with manufacturing processes of sheet metal components and welding processes. Skills in tools & fixture designing, 2D/3D design software, understanding low-cost automation, PLC, sensors, and line balancing. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and project management for NPD tasks.
