Job Description Key responsibilities of the Sr. Category Manager:
Setting the overall merchandise and buying strategies in close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as marketing, store operations, and supply chain to achieve sales and margin goals.Developing assortment plans that support the overall strategy for key merchandise categories, classifications, and vendors.Sourcing and maintaining close supplier interaction to further develop the relationship. The Successful Applicant The successful candidate for the Sr. Category Manager to handle the Pets and Accessories category must possess experience in handling similar categories, products, and assortments.

Must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role - buying, merchandising, purchasing/sourcing, and supplier management.

Must have extensive experience in supplier management, negotiations, and sourcing.

Good to have experience with hard discount retailers.

Must have exceptional drive to succeed in the role and be part of a leading yet still growing dynamic company.
