Responsibilities: The role involves managing daily financial operations, including month-end and year-end closings, accounts payable and receivable, monitoring EFTs, job order costing, general ledger maintenance, payroll processing, treasury management, budgeting, and cash flow forecastingIt also includes reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements, and managing fixed asset and debt activity.Manage and oversee daily company financial operations, including, identifying areas for system improvements, ensuring accounting objectives are achieved, and maintaining fiscal records.Data entry using Xero, tracking work-in-progress jobs, managing diamond purchases, and submitting daily production and sales reports are essential tasks.Updating customer profiles in the CRM system, analyzing month-end reports for management and tax authorities, andPerforming other assigned tasks to support company goals are also part of the responsibilities. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required), along with a CPA qualification as a bonus.Minimum of 2 years as Sr. Accountant and experience with an Australian companyProficiency in financial reporting, general ledger management, month-end/year-end closing processes, and a sound understanding of GAAP is essential.Familiarity with ERP systems, accounting databases, and proficiency in Xero accounting software are required.Strong Excel skills for financial reporting and analysis, exceptional analytical capabilities, decision-making skills, and problem-solving abilities are necessary for handling complex financial challenges.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational prowess, time management abilities, and a commitment to upholding high ethical standards are also crucial in this role. What We Offer:
Salary: 55,000-60,000 (depending on your skills and experience)
