Position Summary: As PH accountant, the core responsibility is to support SEA FM in PH accounting, tax, and statutory reporting functions. Able to work independently and to ensure the completeness, timelines and accuracy of compilation of accounting data, tax, and statutory filing. Upkeep high integrity and act in the interest of company assets.
Support SEA FM, to manage PH accounting, tax, statutory and operational matters To assist in preparing WHT, VAT, CIT, other statutory reporting matters Able to coordinate and support both Audit and Tax independently and to meet filing due date Familiar with PHP FX control ruling/BIR/local government licenses renewal, registration matters Able to support PH commercial team on finance related queries such as invoicing/revenue recognition/tax implication etc. Support AR collection and AR analysis Support month end closing to do. This includes preparing journals, balance sheet reconciliation schedules, inventory EO and warranty reserve tracker Prepare local tax invoice/OR/WHT 2307 cert printing to customers/vendors Support other SEA entities accounting/audit/other ad-hoc projects as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree of Finance/Accounting, or relevant accountancy qualification Around 10 years of accounting experience Must have good knowledge of local PH Accounting standard, WHT tax and statutory requirement Must have good knowledge of SAP system and proficient in Excel Past exposure in MNC organization is a MUST Exposure in supporting commercial/operational team PERSONAL TRAIT PROFILE: Results oriented, with 'Can Do' mindset Good learning attitude and always strive for continuous improvement Committed and with good time management Good communication skills and adaptable to cross country culture RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to SEA Finance Manager SSC-AP/GL team PH Commercial team Third party service providers, like Accenture, EY, Deloitte, TMF Benefits of working as a (Sr.) Accountant in Philippines:?
