Job Description: Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Assist with compliance with local regulation. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis. Analyze financial data and provide insights into financial performance, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting. Develop and maintain internal financial controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and compliance with regulations. Coordinate and manage financial audits, both internal and external, and ensure timely responses to audit requests and findings. Reconcile complex accounts and resolve discrepancies, ensuring that all accounts are accurate and up to date. Manage and maintain fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules and asset tracking. Assist in tax compliance, including preparing and filing tax returns, reconciling tax accounts, and providing support for tax audits. Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial planning. Utilize financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to record, process, and analyze financial transactions. Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies in accounting procedures and workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to provide financial guidance and support for business decisions. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and standards, and assist in updating policies as needed. Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned. Job Qualifications: At least 3 years general accounting experience Sage Intacct (preferred), or other accounting software Bachelor's degree in accounting, strong command of accounting rules and procedures in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Ability to work independently. High level of inquisitiveness and attention to detail Analytical skills Eagerness to learn and embrace training. Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and interpersonal skills; able to listen effectively to solve problems, anticipate issues and make effective decisions; and perform responsibilities as a team player.
