Sourcing: Source new material suppliers to support overall OCL coming business development.Define key cost drivers & set up cost improvement plan to reduce overall material costs, including price reduction, payment terms & delivery terms improvement, quality improvement, etc.Monitor & manage supplier performance to meet company requirements on cost, quality, compliance & service. Set up suppliers development plan to drive continuous improvement.Support Quality & PMC team when suppliers could not perform.Maintain and update supplier information, material prices, lead times, and all related commercial terms in ERP system.Generate supplier scope cards & review with suppliers regularly.Plan & execute supplier annual audits with all internal teams.Review & input RFQs raw material costs, ensuring material quality & other cost factors align with OCL stakeholders.Search for alternative and backup potential suppliers through creative methods (exhibitions, internet, networking).Support Technical teams (i.e., Tooling engineer, SQE, Regional R&D) to resolve design issues impacting supplier performance.Negotiate sub-contracts, including appropriate custom flow down to support project budget constraints and achieve timely performance while minimizing program risk and exploiting program opportunities.Identify risks and opportunities and create plans to mitigate and realize them.Work with the project team to conduct and settle any legal claims and disputes pertaining to subcontracting.Business Development: Work with the GM in pursuing opportunities in the local market / Asia Pacific to increase OCL's customer base and provide fillers during lean months.Develop and execute market sourcing strategy in electronics and passive commodities through full market knowledge, supplier rationalization, predictable and industry-leading commodity pricing plans, cost modeling through transparent supplier relationships, and effective principles to drive efficiency and cost.Qualifications: More than 5 years of working experience as a sourcing/merchandiser in consumer electronic items; production knowledge is a plus.Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.An ability to think logically and critically to weigh the various available operations and make the best decision in favor of efficient production.Possess active listening and fast reading skills to take desired steps in a flick of seconds.Quick decision-making and excellent time management skills.Ability to act with a sense of urgency as needed.Excellent leadership skills.
