We are seeking a Software QA Engineer to uphold the quality and reliability standards of our software products. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing comprehensive tests, identifying defects, analyzing requirements, and facilitating effective communication with stakeholders. Collaborating closely with developers, you will contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our products. Additionally, you may be tasked with collaborating with implementation engineers for internal setup, testing, and client installations. Success in this role demands meticulous attention to detail, robust analytical capabilities, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precise and efficient test case executions, covering functional, stability, performance, and quality aspects of our software products.
- Conduct API and database testing, encompassing Black Box/White Box/Functional/Integration/Regression/Performance testing.
- Utilize IDA test system or similar platforms to report software issues and generate quality metrics for prioritizing development efforts.
- Engage closely with developers to identify and resolve issues, providing timely testing insights to facilitate issue resolution.
- Validate new features and fixes, executing regression tests to uphold product integrity, and execute software deployment plans while monitoring post-deployment quality.
- Actively participate in design reviews and product design processes to contribute to ongoing quality enhancements.
- Develop and enhance automated test cases to bolster testing efficiency and coverage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance/testing roles.
- Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and conducting various testing types.
- At least 3 years hands-on experience with SQL Databases.
- Experience in API testing and familiarity with automation testing frameworks like Robot Framework is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- 1-2 years experience working nightshift operations or US CST Time
- Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
