Responsibilities Based out of Philippines, as a Veson Nautical Consultant you will function as the primary technical and project management contact throughout the sales, implementation, and deployment phases of the world's leading enterprise software solution for maritime commercial operations. Your responsibilities will extend throughout the project lifecycle – understanding customer's needs, gathering requirements, establishing and maintaining project scope and facilitating communications and accountability.
As the point person and Consultant for system implementation you will plan, track, and manage the implementation process including delivery of customized training and ongoing support to end-users, IT, and management to ensure successful system adoption. You will work closely with the Veson Nautical product team to define and verify customizations, and to plan and manage successful enterprise software implementations.
Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years'+ experience delivering end to end enterprise software implementations, integration, and training, as a Consultant/Business Analyst/Project ManagerAnalytical thinking and attention to detailsFluent English with additional languages welcome!Demonstrated planning and organizing skillsOutstanding consulting, presentation, coaching and facilitation skillsAbility to communicate with customers at all levels of the organizationProven ability to proactively address customer concerns and meet or exceed customer needsExperience with business process analysis and business requirements gathering and documentationDesire to work in fast-paced, entrepreneurial settingWillingness to travel across Asia-Pacific with up to 50% travel4-year College Degree – preferably in engineering, IT, economics, finance, or business Beneficial Skills (Not essential) Financial Technologies and Accounting experience is a plusKnowledge and experience on trading, risk management, and physical trading in the commodity market, ETRM, CTRMKnowledge of the maritime shipping industryInsight on the energy, oil, and gas industriesFamiliarity with Windows Server, MS Operating Systems, Microsoft SQL Server, and MS Office applicationsExposure to programming languages and technologies (such as C#, JavaScript, scripting languages, and XML)We are focused on building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
