Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Quality Engineer, your technical skills will directly impact the quality of the software we create, and your recommendations and findings will help us make sure we're delivering the best of the best. Whether the testing is manual, automated, or cognitive, you hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to our clients and IBM alike. In your role you may be responsible for:
Building automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Protractor, Katalon, Cucumber, etc.Creating test data and test environmentsWriting and executing test scripts under the direction of a senior tester and test lead and identifying errors and validating successes for any software solutionIdentifying, understanding, and documenting all programming errors and operational characteristics that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specification goals for the given program, application or set of applicationsDoing a deep-dive and presenting test results to clients and project teams clearly Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseMainframe Test Lead with COBOL, JCL Development skills Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertisePreferred experience: knowledgeable on design, creation and execution of functional and/or non-functional test cases; experience with tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Selenium, Test Data Management Tools, Performance Testing ToolsExposure to at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, IBM, or Google CloudFamiliarity with data quality analysis, and testing skills in API, ETL and SQLExposure to basic data science concepts
