As a Developer in ZAP, you will actually make a difference. Each line of code you write will affect how thousands of people use ZAP in the Philippines - your family and friends counted among them.
**Our requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 months of related work experience or internship
- Shows initiative with a willingness to learn and hunger for experience. Has the capacity to learn new technologies quickly.
- Self-directed and able to carry out responsibilities with a minimum of supervision
- Ability to understand the user experience, business requirements, and product strategy
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with a remote team
- Strong ability to work with the cross-functional teams
- Can deliver quality work even on a remote work set-up
- Must be based in the Philippines
**Technical skills**:
- Experience in Javascript and the Node.Js
- Experience with creating API using Node.Js, Java, PHP, or Python, preferably Node.Js
- Experience in any of the ff: React, React Native, Flutter, or Vue.Js is an advantage
- Beginner to intermediate knowledge in MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Experience with DynamoDB or equivalent is a plus
- Beginner to intermediate knowledge in AWS such as S3, EC2, Lambda
- Good grasp of Scrum/Agile methodologies
**Responsibilities**:
- Contribute to the development of the ZAP system, comprising of server-side components, web, and mobile
- Research and present on the latest technology movements
- Continuous integration, deployment, and maintenance of the ZAP system
- Participate in all areas of the Scrum practice
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm, fix, or create new features/products
- Perform other related tasks that may be assigned
