Social Media Specialist with Website and Social Media Management experience (Part-time)
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive candidate with a strong background in managing websites and social media accounts. This role involves providing administrative support, maintaining and updating websites, managing social media presence, and assisting with various tasks to enhance our online presence and streamline daily operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and organize emails, calendars, and appointments.
Assist with data entry and maintaining databases.
Update and maintain website content, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Monitor website performance and troubleshoot any issues.
Ensure the website is SEO-friendly and optimized for search engines.
Perform regular backups and updates to the website.
Create, schedule, and publish content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and followers.
Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance.
Design visually appealing graphics and images using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Write engaging and relevant posts, captions, and hashtags.
Collaborate with team members to generate new ideas for content and campaigns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Web Development, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a virtual assistant or in a similar administrative role.
Demonstrated experience in managing social media accounts for businesses or organizations.
Experience in managing websites, including content updates, SEO, and basic troubleshooting.
Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Joomla).
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in using social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus.
Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

Monday to Friday (4 hours a day | 7:00AM-11:00AM)
