An Ideal Candidate Is a core marketer & copywriter at heart Needs to be creative to come up with highly engaging content Is fluent in written English and grammar Has experience in managing all major social media platforms and terminologies used in them Knows to manage and grow multiple online communities Understands various tools required in the process – collaboration tools, scheduling tools, research tools, content creation tools, reporting tools, etc Can generate reports from every platform, analyze them, and build required strategies Can work with a team A typical day involves various tasks Research What's up with the trends in the market? Craft content around it Find out what competitors and other WordPress products are doing Research and find out the best working content formats across the platforms Stay updated with the latest algorithm updates of social platforms Use brand monitoring tools to find out relevant discussions on platforms to enter in meaningful conversations Curate a roadmap and content calendar for all the social assets Find opportunities to plug products in-between the content and trends Format and design content for more engagement Come up with ideas to promote existing blogs and products Discuss with SEO team, product team, and other teams regarding their workflow and plan content accordingly Take help from graphic designers and video editors for better content Analytics Generate reports from all platforms and analyze using Google Sheets or Excel Consider every data point to optimize the content and profiles Experienced with Facebook Ads Knows graphic designing and/or video editing Manages social media pages for self Who are we?
