**The overall purpose of the job**:
Prestige Cruises is a maritime transportation and tourism company based in Manila.
It holds a Certificate of Public Convenience from the Maritime Industry Authority and accreditation from the Department of Tourism.
For the last 20 years, Prestige Cruises has been operating Manila Bay Dinner Cruises, Corregidor Island Day Tours, Interisland cruise destination tours, and vessel charters.
Prestige Cruise is looking for a talented **SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER** to promote the company's cruises.
He/she will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts, and responding to followers.
He/she will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.
The company expects the applicants to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.
They should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company's views creatively.
Ultimately, he/she should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.

**Responsibilities**:
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Design and implement social media strategies to align with business goals
- Set specific objectives and report on actual engagements
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (original text, photos, videos, and news)
- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
- Collaborate with others like operations, crew, and ancillaries to ensure brand consistency
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
- Oversee social media accounts' design (such as Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and blog layout)
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
**Requirements**:
- Proven work experience in social media
- Hands-on experience in content management and copywriting skills
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
- Knowledge of online marketing channels
- Knowledgeable in web design
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and multitasking skills
- Graduate in Marketing, Business, or relevant field
