**Role Profile**:
Slitting Officer assists the Slitting Supervisor in maintaining efficient production flow, ensuring that procedures are being followed, while also suggesting ideas for streamlining processes.
Duties include performing administrative tasks, documenting procedures, and preparing production and manpower schedule.
Slitting Officer also monitor personnel productivity and develop initiatives toward enhanced job performance.
**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:
1.
Prepares the daily production schedule for each machine.
Setting priorities and arranging the job sequences depending on the lead times.
2.
Ensures that production lines are following the Standard Operating Procedures of the company in compliance to Food Safety Requirements.
3.
Retrieves all daily production reports and ensures that all data written on forms are correct, properly filled up and submitted on-time.
4.
Coordinates with the Production Planner to address issues on production lead time, deliveries and discrepancies.
5.
Ensures that deliveries are complete by avoiding huge wastage.
6.
Knows all items produced in the Slitting line; ensures that all have Job Orders and that the production lines only produce what is written in the Job Order.
7.
Coordinates with Quality Control Department, Slitting Supervisors or Production Manager regarding in-line rejections for possible rework of rejected items to comply with the required quantity to be delivered.
8.
Assists the Production Supervisor in monitoring the efficiency of all Slitting and Dr. Rewinding machines.
9.
Takes part in projects like process/systems improvement.
10.
Submit reports on performance and progress.
11.
Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
12.
Supervise employees to help ensure efficiency and productivity.
13.
Perform administrative tasks under the guidance of Slitting Supervisor, such as documenting procedures and creating guidelines.
14.
Reporting to the Slitting Supervisor or Production Manager as required.
15.
Monitoring both individual and team job performance.
16.
Performs other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.
**Skills and Competencies**:
1.
Bachelor's degree preferably Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or any related course
2.
Work experience in a manufacturing set-up is a plus but not required
3.

Pay: From Php20,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental Pay:
- 13th month salary
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cainta, Rizal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
