Job DescriptionThe Site Manager will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations, design specifications, and project timelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, be detail-oriented, and have a thorough understanding of construction processes.
Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight: Coordinate and supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications.Team Management: Manage and lead site personnel, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations and procedures, conducting regular site inspections to identify and rectify hazards.Resource Management: Ensure that materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly utilized on-site, keeping accurate inventory records.Budget Control: Assist in managing project budgets and timelines, monitor expenditures, and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards in construction work and ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.Problem-Solving: Identify issues that arise on-site and provide timely solutions to keep the project on track.Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory bodies.Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of site activities, including daily reports, change orders, and incident reports.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).Experience: Previous experience in construction management or site supervision (typically 3-5 years).Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS card) are advantageous.Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and legal regulations.Working LocationIf the position requires you to work overseas, please be vigilant and beware of fraud.
