Shift Engineer

FILINVEST COMPANY: CRIMSON RESORT & SPA MACTAN JOB SUMMARY:
In accordance with the policies, procedure and standards of Chroma Hospitality, Inc. and Crimson Resort & Spa, Mactan, under the supervision of the Operations Engineer, the Shift Engineer is responsible for effective operations and maintenance of the physical plant, Kitchen and Laundry equipment, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation system of the resort as well as its building decoration. JOB DESCRIPTION:
Routine inspection in all machineries and equipment and conditions at the following: Generators (check coolant, battery, oil level, water level) Fire pumps (both main wing and ocean wing) Clarifiers (both main wing and ocean wing), Desalination Plant Operation, Sewage Treatment Plant, Sump its (all designated areas), Air handling units, Chillers, Potable water tank level (both main wing and ocean wing), Clarifiers and boiler operations, spa equipment (boiler, chiller, sub-station, operations and fire pump stations) Conduct daily briefing to technicians. Attend to calls from telephone operator, back of the house and restaurants / outlets. Assign task to designated or respective technicians including the SES, building repair, AV Tech, Flora and Fauna in the absence of their respective section heads. Monitor RQM for guest complaints quick action and response. Check all work orders before assigning to respective technician. Ensure that all work orders assign will done or else not done will have proper turn over to the next shift duty engineer. All reports from respective technicians will be reported to logbook of Duty Engineer Report. Proper turn over to incoming Duty Engineer / shift. Ensure proper turnover of previous shift and incoming shift. Ensure compliance of subordinates to established safety procedures including but not limited to the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) Practices and role-models the Guiding Principles and the Core Values of Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan #J-18808-Ljbffr
