Sewage Treatment Plant Operator

- Operates and maintains wastewater treatment, sludge processing, and handling equipment.
- Add chemicals such as ammonia, or chlorine to disinfect water or other liquids
- Inspect other equipment on a regular basis
- Monitor operating conditions, meter and gauges
- Collect and test water and sewage samples
- Perform routine maintenance and record-keeping.
- Ensure safety protocol and environmental compliance.
