As a Service Associate - Procurement (Non-Food Buyer), we rely you to: Interactwith fixed assets/property controller, chief stewards and other department heads related to operating equipments and collaterals for Shangri-La properties Outsource new suppliers for operating equipmentsupplies and other non-F&B supplier Interact closely with operating equipment and other non-F&B suppliers Negotiate prices accordingly to generate savings Facilitate and monitor shipment delivery dates and other importation documents Involve in facilitating CER requests depending on the assigned CER We are looking for someone who: Preferably with atleast 1 year work experience in Procurement/Sourcing from any business industry Has experience in dealing with cross functional teams (i.e. Engineering project involvement) Is knowledgeable in any Procurement System (i.e. SCM, SAP, etc.) Is proficient in Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) Has good communication and people management skills Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language) Has strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task Able to communicate priorities and drives business results Demonstrate high level of integrity and honesty. Smart with pleasing personality. Has good negotiation skills. A self-starter and customer-oriented. Displays initiative, commitment to professional values.
