The Senior Statutory and Compliance Executive is responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with all the relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Key Responsibilities include: Compliance Monitoring
* Keep abreast of all relevant statutory and compliance regulations and ensure that LUXASIA Inc. is in full compliance with them.
* Ensure to build professional relationships with concerned government institutions to ensure that new laws or any changes are well understood.Audits and Inspections
* Plan and execute regular internal compliance audits to identify and rectify any potential issues. Collaborate with external auditors and regulators during official inspections.
* Conduct proactive audits to maintain company compliance and prevent issues.Risk Assessment
* Identify potential compliance risks and areas of improvement, providing recommendations and solutions to address them effectively.Reporting
* Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and regulatory authorities as required.
* Ensure proper monitoring of the reports to prevent issues.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, Political Science, Accountancy, or any Pre-Law Course.At least 5 years of experience in tax practice with extensive knowledge in tax compliance and advisory.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to establish professional relationships with government agencies and management.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.Proficiency in using basic Microsoft Programs such as Outlook, MS Teams, Word, and Excel.Do you have what it takes to succeed in a fast-paced and intense environment?
