Senior Tax Accountant - Us

Role: As the Senior Tax Accountant (US), you will join our growing global finance team. You will be working closely with other tax and finance team members. You will manage day-to-day compliance work, and drive the company's US tax-related workstreams.


Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Review monthly sales and use tax and reconciling the differences between the NS and Avalara system Review and confirm exemption certificates are current and validExperience in back-filing sales and use taxExperience in US indirect tax and income tax provision and complianceManage and facilitate directly with local tax authorities on indirect tax and income tax related noticesAddressing internal/external client inquiriesDevelop and implement opportunities for process standardization and improvement in US tax proceduresMaintain up-to-date tax calendar for various filings, compliance matters and other tax related workstreamsTax research related to complex tax situations and/or changes in tax law
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance.CPA or equivalent certification preferred.Big 4 or nationally recognized firm experience preferred.5+ years of previous relevant tax compliance experience. Must have extensive experience in US indirect tax and income tax (sales, use tax)Work Setup:
Location: Makati
Work Shift: US EST timezone (typically 9PM PH Time onwards)
Set-up: Hybrid (3x onsite, 2x WFH weekly)
