Our engineering expertise reaches across all sectors of the construction industry, providing pragmatic and practical design solutions to ensure our projects are spatially and operationally efficient. Our design process fully considers the installation and maintenance practicalities on site.
Due to our continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer, ideally with extensive years of working experience in design and analysis of building structures from concept through to construction in various sectors particularly the technology/data centre industry and to work as part of a team on technically challenging projects.
ResponsibilitiesDevelops the structural design for new build and refurbishment of buildings projectsLiaises with other disciplines to produce a coordinated designResponsible for checking the quality and accuracy of own and others' workResponsible for setting and meeting agreed deadlinesAllocates tasks and coordinates activitiesRepresents the company both internally and externallyAuthors documents such as letters and reports (for internal or external use)Follows Company standards to ensure that all designs are compliantMay in addition be responsible for:The performance and development of others, providing guidance, training, motivational and directional feedbackRequirementsMinimum of 7 years technical experience specialising in design and analysis of building structuresExperience of working in an engineering team, preferably within the technology/data centre industryCompetent in using software such as Autodesk Revit, Tekla and Robot Structural AnalysisGood understanding of EurocodesTo manage your own workload and be a good team playerAbility to work in an evolving market where new technologies can be embracedGood communication and presentation skillsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or have sufficient equivalent experienceOur ValuesAccountability: Everyone is accountable.Integrity: We are straight-talking, respectful, and fair.Simplicity: Both in our approach and solutions.Supportive: We are approachable, inclusive, and we recognise success.Quality: We strive to get it right first time, every time.
