ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Civil/Structural Engineer is responsible for the scoping, analysis, design review, certification, construction observation, and supervision of civil works to be undertaken by the company, ensuring safety, timeliness, quality, and compliance at all times.
Analysis:
Expertly analyze structural plans to ensure panel installation feasibility.
Assess additional load impact and conduct thorough site inspections.
Create detailed structural plans if needed.
Certification:
Certify buildings for solar installations, meeting Philippine standards.
Ensure rigorous compliance with codes and seal certifications
Reporting:
Flag non-compliant clients and installations.
Recommend retrofitting solutions meeting Philippine code.
Project Management:
Assist in project management as needed.
Others:
Help craft competitive proposals for sales.
Ensure all agreements are fulfilled and safety standards met.
Prioritize client satisfaction.
JOB QUALIFICATION
Licensed Civil/Structural Engineer
Minimum number of years in a similar field: 3 to 5 years
Proficiency in SAP, STAAD, ABAQUS and other common structural analysis programs
Structural engineering design or research experience of solar pv system foundations and structural support systems
Understanding of common solar PV foundation systems and geotechnical aspects of design
Understanding of typical construction methods for Solar PV systems
Proven HSE mindset and demonstrated behavior-based safety mentality
Able to work independently and make independent decisions when called for
Proven ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to communicate and interact with C-level personnel
Willing to travel
