In your new role you will: Manage & oversee shop-floor training and certification for new hires, bi-yearly re-certification and multi-skill certification with zero overdue including documentation, recording & reports.
Review training syllabus and assessments as and when needed (min once per year).
Master trainer for TWI (Training Within Industry).
Ensure training is executed using TWI methodology.
Govern OJTI systematic including writeup using TWI format.
Cascade OJTI TWI training to new engineers and refresher training to existing engineers.
Perform OJTI buy-off to ensure the practicality of the methods/ steps written.
Assess the training effectiveness through Work Procedure Assessment (WPA) and drive improvement.
Collaborate with Operations & Engineering teams to analyze the root cause for quality issues caused by man and drive for improvements.
Regular dialogue and coaching to trainers for their competency enhancement and KPI achievement.
You are best equipped for this task if you have: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Manufacturing or any relevant qualification Mininum 3 years experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing company Possesses strong analytical skills (i.e: handling of issues, improvement, situations, findings) Excellent presentation skills, facilitation and conflict management skills Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Able to prioritize issues to address urgency level and execution Good communication skills and People Management Skills (to be able to build relationships with internal and external parties) Knowledgeable in training and competency development topics (to be able to drive respective projects and extension to others) Our offer in Malacca Wide range of training offers & planning of career development International assignments Different career paths: Project Management, Technical Ladder, Management & Individual Contributor Exempt working hours are flexible within core hours (9am-12pm & 2pm- 5.15pm) Home office options for certain tasks or due to personal circumstances.
