Who we are and what we do Audinate leads the world in networked media with our "Dante" technology which is used extensively in professional audio & video applications, including live events, broadcast, entertainment venues and communication systems. Dante replaces all audio and video connections with a computer network, effortlessly sending video or hundreds of channels of audio over slender Ethernet cables with perfect digital fidelity. Adopted by hundreds of manufacturers in thousands of products, Dante is the de facto standard for modern AV connectivity. You'll find us in the largest companies and institutions like the Sydney Opera House, NFL Media Headquarters, Microsoft, major universities and even a 900-year old cathedral featured in Harry Potter. What we're looking for We are seeking experienced software engineers to join a new development team in Manila with a focus on video software products. Dante enabled video products are at the core of realizing our corporate vision to pioneer the future of AV. We already have products in the market and are developing more to meet the needs of our customers. You'll be building solutions in a cross-platform environment (macOS, Windows, Linux) using C/C++ for development and strong commercial experience in these areas will be required for success. Alongside this experience, you'll also bring a good understanding of operating systems internals and experience of test automation (CI/CD) and unit testing (e.g. TDD, BDD). Software engineers at Audinate work closely with product teams to ensure the translation of business requirements and customer expectations into reality and an awareness of how commercial needs impact on product development will also be very helpful. If you're the kind of person who likes their work to be tangible, working close to the needs of the customer and end users then this might be the role for you. How we work We have flexibility to work from home but also collaborate every week in-person at our office in BGC as well as working remotely alongside engineering and operations colleagues in Australia, the UK and Belgium.
