Job Description: Oversees and plans the business operations covered by the Engineering DivisionWorks with Branch Top Management to devise strategies to meet the Branch's objectives, and reports on the performance of the engineering division to the Branch Representative, and the JFEE Head Office in JapanLead, operate, and manage the engineering organization in accordance with thebusiness operational requirements and in consideration of the project objectives/activities.Directthe engineering organization's plans and execution in coordination with the project management, clients, and stakeholders while ensuring quality, schedule, cost, safety, etc. of the engineering works,tosuccessfully complete the engineering activities.Report to and coordinate withthe Branch Top Management,JFEE head office and relevant parties regarding engineering works, projects, updates, status, including concerns and issues.Continuously monitor the performance and manpower sufficiency of the Engineering Division and maintain the optimum manpower allocation and its efficiency.Take necessary actions on manpower reinforcement in consultation with the Branch Top Management, Project Management and JFEE Head Office and relevant parties, when any problems are anticipated, or detected.Set goals, provide guidance and evaluate performance of engineering discipline groups and subordinate managers.Ensure timely resolution of issues/concerns that may arise in the Engineering Division by coordinating and collaborating with concerned parties.Respond and collaborate with JFEE Head Office for problem solutions and new initiatives as the Head of the Engineering Division of the Branch.Represents the company to clients, vendors, government entities and external parties in business related transactions, gatherings, and meetings for current and upcoming projects.Project ManagementSchedule ControlReviewing PJ schedule based on actual progress and work volume.Reporting PJ status and schedule to Project Director and Japan HQCost ControlReviewing and estimating PJ cost based on actual work progress and work volume.Reporting cost status to Project Director and Japan HQ Construction Management/ Subcontract Management as Project managerCoordinate and attend meetings with Client, Engineers and SubcontractorsAttend meetings to support PJ member to coordinate with related groupsDesign Gr. : Design Drawing andField ChangeProcurement and Logistics: Delivery, receiving and handover of material at site.Construction: Coordination of work area and schedule.Project Team: Overall PJ ScheduleManage and monitor the subcontract work progress and take necessary action against subcontractors to achieve milestones.Manage change of BOQ and scope of work including V.O. and site instructions, and report to Project Director/JapanHQSchedule /Progress ControlReview the detailed construction plan and schedule based on the basic construction plan.Progress monitoring based on the work schedule.Evaluate Subcontractor's work progress / progress report.Coordinate with subcontractors and other parties to execute the work.OthersManage and lead PJ memberto execute their activities.Job Requirement: Minimum Academic Qualification – Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.Licensed Professional Engineer (active).Having at least 10 years of experience in Construction Project Management and Engineering.Excellent in English speaking, writing, and listening skills.Good computer knowledge skills – MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.Willing to work under high pressure.Having a good moral character.
