Senior Planner

Responsible for ensuring product supply and meeting customer requirements at the right time and in the correct quantity.Utilizes SAP Capacity Planning tools to assess potential production constraints in future periods, balance production loads, and identify possible corrective actions, such as overtime, adding equipment, outsourcing, or expediting.Responsible for the proper scheduling agreement (SA) and purchase order (PO) management and monitoring of external processing and purchased parts, with regular follow-ups with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels.Monitors the production plan/schedule and coordinates any changes with the respective production supervisors.Responsible for production order conversion, picking list generation, and monitoring these processes.Reviews and assesses raw material availability and expedites critical materials and production backlogs to ensure continuous material supply.Ensures maximum utilization of the company's resources while managing inventory levels at the lowest possible cost.Maintains material master data as per MRPC and participates in the quarterly review of setup.Coordinates material changes and issues with related departments (i.e., quality, production, engineering).Participates in weekly production planning meetings to escalate issues that require immediate resolution.Tracks and monitors blocked parts, on-hold inventory, and follows up on disposition.May also be assigned as a materials/subcontractor planner.Requirements: Graduate of any Engineering or Business degree, or a candidate with at least 5 years of relevant experience.Over 5 years of experience in manufacturing and supply chain roles.Experience in SAP PP/MM is a distinct advantage. Proficient in Microsoft applications.
