Role Description This is a full-time senior network administrator role based in Makati, with flexibility for some remote work. The senior network administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's network infrastructure, troubleshooting network issues, ensuring network security, and providing technical support to end users. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement network solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities: Network Administration : Design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure. This includes configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. Technical Support : Provide technical support to end-users and other IT staff regarding network-related issues. Troubleshoot connectivity problems, performance issues, and security breaches. Security Management : Assist in implementing and enforcing network security policies and procedures. Monitor network traffic for anomalies and potential security breaches. Collaborate with the security team to respond to incidents and mitigate risks. Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Generate reports on network performance, security incidents, and compliance status as needed. Management Support : Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the network team, including task assignment, workload management, and performance monitoring. Provide input to senior management on team performance and areas for improvement. Qualifications Proficiency in network administration, system administration, and troubleshooting Strong knowledge of network security best practices Experience in providing technical support and resolving network issues Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team Effective communication and interpersonal skills Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred Experience in healthcare or related industries is a plus 5-8 years of experience in the same position.
