Edit video footage to create clear, engaging, and cohesive pieces that align with our brand and communication goals. Create high-quality static designs, including infographics, banners, and digital advertisements. Collaborate with marketing, communications, and product teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-impact visuals. Manage multiple projects from concept through completion, adhering to deadlines and budget constraints. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools, and proactively suggest improvements to increase the effectiveness of our visual communications. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and other team members, ensuring best practices in both video and graphic design are followed. Maintain archive of images, photos, and previous work products for potential future use. Additional tasks as assigned BREAKDOWN OF WORK: New graphic/static design: 50% Video-editing: 50% THE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in multimedia design, with substantial video editing and graphic design expertise. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects). Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of visual design work, including both video and static graphics. Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Has worked in the GY Shift experience Able to work in any US Timezones (PST/CST/EST) NICE-TO-HAVE: Experience with Figma is a nice-to-have Previous leadership experience or demonstrated ability to manage projects or teams. Experience in a corporate or agency environment. Knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends and how they impact design.
