We're offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly-skilled Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in the development and improvement of the CROVER robot and systems.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, analysis, and development of complex mechanical systems and components compliant with the ATEX, IECEx and NEC500 directives and related standardsMotor requirements definition, motor(s) selection and sourcingConduct research, testing, and prototyping to validate new mechanical engineering concepts and technologiesPerform simulations to validate mechanical designs and provide clear reports and recommendations the rest of the teamEnsure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocolsCreate and maintain detailed documentation drawings and assembly instructions for designsIdentify and implement mechanical design and manufacturing process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and qualityIdentify and resolve technical issues and provide support for manufacturing and field service teamsWork closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality productsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of mechanical engineering solutions into our products and servicesReviewing the work of and provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineersManage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specificationsContribute to the strategic planning and decision-making processes, driving the company's mechanical engineering agendaKeep up with the latest trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve products and deliver cutting-edge solutionsRequirements: At least 7 years of proven experience in mechanical design and development, or similar. with a strong portfolio of successful projectsProven track record of developing certified and scalable productsProficient in using CAD software (Autodesk Fusion 360, and Inventor), and simulation tools (e.g. finite element analysis (FEA) tools)Mastery of selecting motors, mechanical components, manufacturing methods and implementing best Design for Manufacturing (DfM) practicesExcellent problem-solving skills, the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, critical thinking, and decision-making abilitiesStrong English written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsExperience working with international teams and in global marketsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirementsDemonstrated eagerness to learn new skills and take on diverse tasks, fostering both personal and company growthBenefits: Crover offers highly competitive, total compensation packages linked directly to an employee's professional experienceThe range of starting annual base pay for this role is PHP 60,000 - 80,000 per monthCollaborative and innovative environment: have the chance to work with one of the leading robotics teams in the world, leading the way in granular locomotion at a global levelOpportunities for professional growth and developmentOther Details: This is primarily a remote position, providing flexibility to work from home.
