JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Manager, Human Resources will play a key leadership role in shaping the company's human resources strategy within the IT Solutions / Systems Integration Business, with a core focus on Learning, Training, and Development (L&D) to ensure the continuous growth and development of employees. This individual will manage and enhance HR programs, policies, and systems across a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. The Senior Manager will work closely with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with the company's business objectives, fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and talent development.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Learning, Training, and Development (Core Focus): Learning & Development Strategy: Design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive L&D strategy that aligns with organizational goals and enhances employee skills, performance, and career development.Training Programs: Lead the development and delivery of training programs, including onboarding, leadership development, technical skills, and soft skills training, for employees at all levels.Performance Management: Collaborate with managers to create and enhance performance management systems that foster continuous learning and professional development.Career Development: Design and implement career development frameworks and pathways to support employee growth, succession planning, and retention.Evaluation and Feedback: Measure the effectiveness of training programs and initiatives through assessments, feedback surveys, and performance tracking to ensure that L&D efforts yield tangible results.Coaching and Mentoring: Provide coaching and mentorship to team members and managers, offering guidance on developing leadership capabilities and enhancing employee potential.HR Function Oversight (Additional Areas): Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Oversee the recruitment strategy to attract top talent, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and culture.Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and grievances, facilitating conflict resolution and ensuring a positive, compliant, and productive work environment.Performance Management & Appraisals: Work with management to implement performance review systems that support employee growth and align with business objectives.Compensation and Benefits: Partner with the HR Director and other senior leaders to design competitive compensation structures and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate talent.HR Policy and Compliance: Ensure adherence to HR policies, legal regulations, and best practices, staying current with labor laws, industry standards, and company policies.Employee Engagement & Retention: Develop and implement strategies to increase employee engagement, job satisfaction, and retention through surveys, recognition programs, and feedback initiatives.Leadership and Collaboration: Leadership Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership to align HR strategies with company goals, creating a high-performance culture and driving business success.HR Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the effective execution of HR programs and services.Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with other departments to understand HR needs and proactively offer solutions that support business objectives.Strategic Planning and Reporting: HR Metrics and Reporting: Develop and monitor HR metrics to measure the success of HR initiatives, including employee retention, training effectiveness, and overall organizational performance.Budget Management: Oversee the HR department's budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions for employee training and development.Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate HR processes and programs, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.8+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on Learning, Training, and Development. Experience across other HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, and performance management is highly desirable.Previous experience in an HR leadership role is required, with demonstrated success in implementing L&D strategies and programs.Willing to work in BGC and on a Hybrid set-up.Skills and Competencies: Learning & Development Expertise: Strong experience designing, implementing, and managing corporate training programs, leadership development, and performance management frameworks.Strategic Thinking: Ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives and demonstrate the impact of HR programs on organizational success.Leadership and Coaching: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop HR teams and employees at all levels.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.Problem Solving and Decision Making: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to address complex HR challenges.HR Systems and Tools: Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), LMS (Learning Management Systems), and performance management tools.Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs, proactively seeking opportunities for HR improvements and innovations.Personal Attributes: Strong Business Acumen: A deep understanding of how HR functions intersect with broader business strategies.Emotional Intelligence: Ability to understand, empathize with, and influence employees at all levels of the organization.Proactive and Results-Oriented: A self-starter who takes initiative and drives results while managing multiple priorities.Collaborative: Strong team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and foster collaboration across the organization.Preferred Experience/Skills: Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) or Learning & Development (e.g., ATD Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) is a plus.Experience working in a fast-paced, global, or diverse environment is an advantage.Experience with virtual and remote learning program development and management is desirable.
