Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: Deliver the people strategy from a Business Partnering perspective for adidas Golf in Asia Pacific, ensuring value at every touchpoint and executing the HR strategy with excellence through collaboration with global and regional partners. This role is pivotal in strategically partnering with the adidas Golf leadership team and employee population across Japan, South Korea, Greater China, Southeast Asia and Pacific to align people management practices with business goals. The aim is to foster a culture that recognizes outstanding achievement, enables individuals to reach their potential, and ensures all employees are treated with respect and fairness. This role will directly support the VP of Golf APAC and manage HR operations for a diverse employee population across 9 countries. The position reports to the Director HR Business Partner adidas Golf, based in California at the adidas Golf HQ, with a dotted line reporting to the Japan Market VP of HR due to the physical location in Japan. Key Responsibilities: Primary HR Partner: Act as the key HR Business Partner for adidas Golf's Senior Business Leaders in Asia Pacific, particularly supporting the VP of Golf APAC.Business Alignment: Translate business priorities into HR initiatives and ensure alignment of people management practices with business goals.HR Consultation: Provide expert advice on all HR-related topics for managers and employees, including headcount planning, team structure, performance management, and organizational design.Headcount Management: Oversee the annual personnel budgeting process and rolling forecasts, ensuring efficient headcount management.Compensation Management: Facilitate the annual salary review, promotions, and salary adjustment processes, ensuring alignment with company policies.Talent Management: Implement and support Personnel & Management Development tools and concepts in collaboration with the HR Talent team, such as MyBest, TLU, and Succession Planning initiatives.Reward Systems: Provide insights on reward systems, ensuring external competitiveness and effectiveness of sales commissions.Compliance: Ensure HR standards, procedures, and policies are fully implemented, understood, and complied with across the support areas.Performance Management: Manage performance management processes, including addressing low performance and disciplinary measures.Organizational Change: Support and manage organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with business objectives.Employee Engagement: Drive employee engagement initiatives, such as team meetings, workshops, and team-building activities.Redundancy Management: Manage employee redundancies in compliance with labor laws and company policies.Reporting and Data Management: Maintain accurate HR reports and database management on a regular basis.Project Leadership: Lead and contribute to key HR projects and initiatives, driving continuous improvement and innovation within the HR function.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with local, regional, and global HR teams, as well as Finance, Talent Acquisition, and other relevant functions to ensure seamless HR support. Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: Education: University degree or equivalent professional experience, ideally in HR or personnel management.Experience: 6-8 years of experience in relevant HR fields, preferably in a multinational organization.Language Skills: Business level English required; Japanese preferred.Passion for Sports: A strong interest in sports, aligning with adidas' core values and culture.
